RECOVER WITH US
Transitioning from an initial addiction recovery program into normal life can be challenging for most individuals. Halfway houses can be an ideal step following residential treatment.
ANGELS LIGHT programming gives adult men the support and structure required to be successful when they return to their communities, jobs, and families.
One of the most important factors to consider when choosing a halfway house program is the staff. Our staff is experienced, caring, compassionate, and many have been in your shoes. They are available 24 hours a day, because we understand that recovery happens around the clock.
Our focus is to offer encouragement and support to our residents, and to find helpful solutions for any situation that may arise in your recovery.
What Can I Expect in This Program?
Angels Light’s halfway houses in Youngwood and New Derry, Pennsylvania provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment while clients work through reintegration. Staff are onsite 24/7. We accept clients that are using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services and clients with special needs.
During their stay, residents obtain part-time employment, engage in volunteer activities, and pursue educational opportunities in addition to being trained in life skills and job readiness.
Clients also engage in onsite group and individual therapy and life skills programming. Individuals in our halfway houses participate in daily community meetings and recovery-based support group meetings.
Most residents spend four to six months in one of our halfway homes. The actual length of stay depends on the specific needs of the resident.
